Space Oddity

The observable universe is estimated to contain around two trillion galaxies — a number that almost defies imagination.

Yet it fades when compared with the combinatorial space of possible flavor combinations. That space is not just astronomical, but hyper‑astronomical.

Taste is a complex interplay of dozens of variables. Each variable has multiple possible values, and every value combines with all others. The result is not a linear scale but an exponentially expanding combinatorial space. Even with the most conservative estimation, one quickly arrives at10³⁰ to 10⁶⁰ possible taste configurations — many orders of magnitude greater than the number of stars in the universe.
